The Week Ahead in New Brunswick: Lustig Dance Open House, Near Enemy Film Festival

A guide to the daily happenings in New Brunswick.

1. The Friends of the New Brunswick Free Public Library will host a lunchtime program at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, featuring the music of The Beatles as performed by the band Hey Bulldog. Bring your lunch to the library for the free afternoon concert.

2. Lustig Dance Theatre invites the public to tour their facilities and meet the staff at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4. The studio is located at 80 Albany St., 2nd Floor.

4. The NJ Film Festival begins this week, with the films "The Portal" "Mad Ship" and "Just Short of Sidekick" opening the festival on Friday, Sept. 6. 5. The Near Enemy Film Festival will screen martial arts and fight choreography films at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at George Street Playhouse.
