Third Arrest Made in Somerset Street Shooting
Mohamad Kamara has been charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

A third suspect has been charged in connection with a recent shooting on Somerset Street.
According to a press release from the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, Mohamad Kamara, 26, of Somerset, Franklin Township, has been charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery of a 22-year-old New Brunswick man.
Kamara voluntarily turned himself in at the New Brunswick Police Department on Jan. 18, the release said.

Kamara is charged in connection with the Jan. 15 shooting of the 22-year-old unidentified man in a house on Somerset Street.
The victim remains hospitalized at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in critical but stable condition, the release said.

Kamara's bail has not yet been set.
Two other suspects have already been arrested in the incident, which the Prosecutor's Office is referring to as a "robbery conspiracy" - Lewis Hooper, 28 of Highland Park and Chinikka Lockhart, 25, hometown unknown.
Hooper has been charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, and possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose.
Lockhart has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
