This Week in New Brunswick: Picky Eaters Workshop, Free Music Lessons, NBPA Survey
A list of things happening around New Brunswick this week.

1. (UPDATE: The library has advised this event has been canceled and will be rescheduled, via the library Facebook page.) Parents of picky eaters are invited to a program at the New Brunswick Free Public Library called “5-Keys for Happy, Healthy Family Eating."
From 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, the workshop will focus on teaching parents how to structure meals and snacks and provide creative meal ideas to promote healthy eating in their children, according to a press release from the library. Registration is requested by calling (732) 745-5108 ext. 20 or by emailing htang@lmxac.org.
2. Learn about allergy and sinus treatment at a free workshop at the Robert Wood Johnson Fitness and Wellness Center at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21.
3. The Bond 005 Quintet will perform at Makeda Ethiopian Restaurant, 338 George St., at 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, presented by the New Brunswick Jazz Project. Admission is $5.
4. InSpira Performing Arts & Cultural Center will host a day of free dance and music lessons, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24.
5. The New Brunswick Parking Authority is considering a car sharing program in the city and asks the public to fill out a survey to assist in the information gathering process. Click here for more information.
