
The New Brunswick Auxiliary Police program gained three new volunteer officers last month, freshly graduated from the Middlesex County Auxiliary Police Academy.
According to a press release from the city, the officers attended a 13 week academy that trained them in police practiced to be used during community functions and state of emergency situations.
Jorge Basilio, 23, Carlos Gomez, 23 and Alejandro Henriquez, 27, all of New Brunswick, join the seven auxiliary officers already in the New Brunswick Police Department's ranks.
