Today in New Brunswick: 4-H Meeting, Block Captains Wanted
A daily list of things to know in New Brunswick.

1. Bring an umbrella: the weather forecast for today calls for a partly sunny day with scattered showers and thunderstorms beginning after 10 a.m. Temperatures will reach a high of 88 degrees.
2. New Brunswick 4-H will hold a program advisory meeting at 6 p.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 22, at their offices at 71 Lipman Drive. It is open to anyone who wants to learn more about New Brunswick's 4-H programs.
3. The city is looking for residents who wish to assist in keeping their neighborhoods clean, via the volunteer Block Captains program. Click here for more information.
4. Bring kids between the ages of 3-6 to "Math and Science Storytime" at the New Brunswick Free Public Library at 6 p.m. today for stories, songs and activities related to science.
