1. Tonight is National Night Out in spots around New Brunswick. From 4:30-7:30 p.m., Unity Square will host an outdoor celebration at Feaster Park, free and open to the public to attend. Come out and meet your neighbors!

2. Bring the kids to the New Brunswick Free Public Library at 3 p.m. today to make an edible "Dirt Dessert" in the community room. Call (732) 745-5108, ext. 16. to sign up.

3. Catch some outdoor jazz at Kilmer Square Park with the Afro Cuban Band. The performance begins at 5:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
