New Jersey Intergenerational Orchestra Celebrates Community Musical Arts with Winter Fundraiser Party

Union County--Are you interested in community music programs, enjoy live music, gourmet food and wine? If the answer is yes, you are invited to a Winter Celebration Fundraiser hosted by the New Jersey Intergenerational Orchestra on Sunday, January 30, 2011, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m at the Murray Hill Inn, 535 Central Avenue, New Providence, NJ. 

The event will honor Paula Long for her 12 years of service as local arts development coordinator with the Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs. NJIO will present her with the ArtsBridge Award.

Ms. Long currently serves on the steering committee to develop an Alliance for the Arts and Wellness in New Jersey. She initiated the founding of the Union County Youth Arts Consortium and serves as board member of the Westfield Historical Society and their Education Committee chair.

Party highlights include a musical quartet with guest solo performances, wine-tasting and hors d'oeuvres prepared by Ponte Vecchio Restaurant. Tax-deductible donations are $50 for adults, $20 for children 18 and younger. A game room with a children's menu is available. Reservations are required.
