Duke Ellington Concert at Faith Lutheran
Donations at the concert will go directly to IMAGINE, a grief support center for families in New Jersey.

A concert featuring the music of Duke Ellington will occur at Faith Lutheran Church in New Providence at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 7.
Highlights will be music Ellington composed for his famous Sacred Concerts, as well as other Ellington favorites.
The concert will feature many of the top players on the jazz scene today. The 15-piece band will be led by John Girvin, Minister of Music at Faith and Max Morden, trumpeter in the band.

The members have collectively performed in the current Ellington, Count Basie, Lincoln Center and Vanguard Jazz Orchestras. Additionally, individual members have played with Ray Charles, Harry Connick Jr., Wynton Marsalis, Roy Hargrove, Tito Puente, Freddie Hubbard, Brad Mehldau and Quincy Jones.
