Five Things You Need To Know Today: April 1
Here's a rundown of what's happening around the borough today.

1. It may be April Fools Day, but this is no joke: rain and snow is predicted in our area today, turning to rain after 10 a.m. With a high near 44, wind gusts could reach 25 mph and new snow accumulation could range from 1 to 2 inches.
2. A is set for Friday, April 15. Reservations are still being accepted, but are requested by today, April 1.
3. Today, the girls’ varsity softball team will host Arthur L. Johnson, the boys’ varsity and JV will play at Roselle Park, and the freshman team will host Metuchen. All games begin at 4 p.m.

4. The boys’ varsity and JV tennis teams will host Jonathan Dayton at 4 p.m. today.
5. The girls’ varsity lacrosse team will host Lacordaire at 4 p.m., while the boys’ lacrosse teams will play at Scotch Plains-Fanwood. The varsity team will begin at 4 p.m., followed by JV at 5:30 p.m.
