Five Things You Need To Know Today: August 21
Today, there will be an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in Summit and an estate sale in Bedminster.

1. There will be an at Overlook Hospital, Center for Community Health, at 8:45 a.m. today. Located at 99 Beauvoir Pl. in Summit, meetings are held every Sunday morning and are open to all.
2. There will be an at 144 Country Club Rd. in Bedminster today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Items for sale to include: 2 Kenmore side-by-side Refrigerators, 1 Freezer Washing Machine and Drier, 2 Sit-to-Stand electric recliners by Best Chairs Co., retro bedroom furniture and much more.
3. Tomorrow, the is hosting play-shops for kids ages 3 - 9 and their parents from 10 to 11 a.m. Each play-shop includes a combination of stories and music that allows kids to participate in the fun.

4. Registration for New Providence Recreation's fall programs opens on Monday at 9 a.m. To view programs offered and to register online, go to newprov.org/recreation. Program books were also mailed to each resident last week. For more information, please call the recreation office at 908-464-4430.
5. Borough Council will meet on Monday at 7 p.m. in the Municipal Center.
