Five Things You Need To Know Today: June 4

Today, the track team will compete in the Group I State Meet in Old Bridge, the 27th Annual Tour of Notable Homes will be held, and the NP Soccer Club is hosting a picnic for charity.

1. The boys' and girls' varsity track team will compete in the Group I State Meet at 11 a.m. at Carl Sandburg Middle School in Old Bridge.

2. Today is the 27th Annual Tour of Notable Homes, presented by the Westfield Symphony Orchestra from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $35. Click for more information.

3. The New Providence Soccer Club is hosting its today at 3 p.m. with parent kids games, contests, food, snacks, drinks and prizes. This event is open to all and proceeds will benefit a local family in need.

4. The Community Service Association and New Providence Business and Professional Association are teaming up to host the 5th annual Car Show Fundraiser this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Academy Street. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. and motorcycles are also invited to attend. The rain date is scheduled for June 12.

5. Remember, Tuesday, June 7th is the Primary Election Day. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
