Borough offices will close at 12 p.m. today, the varsity softball team will compete in the UCT this evening, and Hoboken Farms continues to offer sandwiches at a "pay what you wish" price structure.

1. Borough Offices are set to close at 12 noon today for employee training.

2. The girls' varsity softball team will play Brearley in the Quarterfinal Round of Union County Tournament this evening. The game is set to begin at 6 p.m. at Memorial Park in Linden.

3. The boys' and girls' track teams will compete in the Union County Championships at Governor Livingston today, beginning at 4 p.m.

4. The boys' varsity and JV baseball teams will host Chatham High School at 4 p.m. today.

To celebrate the grand opening of its first retail sandwich shop in Summit, NJ, Hoboken Farms, located at 789 Springfield Avenue, is offering 1,000 sandwiches to customers using a "pay what you wish" price structure, with all money benefiting the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, an organization that helps feed more than 900,000 people each year via their 1,500 member agencies in 18 of New Jersey’s 21 counties. Stop by from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to pick up what is promised as one of the state's most awesome sandwiches for take-out or delivery.
