Foster and Donnelly Get Most Votes In Berkeley Heights Primary

The two Republicans got the most number of votes and will run in November against Democrats Stephen H. Yellin and Alvaro Medeiro​s.

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — Republicans John Foster and Paul Donnelly got the highest number of votes in the primary race for Berkeley Heights Township Council, according to unofficial results.

Foster got 618 and Donnelly got 624.

Democratic incumbents Stephen H. Yellin and Alvaro Medeiros were the only two running on the Democratic primary ballot and got 455 and 452 votes, respectively.

Out of the run are Republicans Edmund Tom Maciejewski and George de Luna.

  • Joseph Signorello III: 6,814

41,554 ballots were cast in Somerset County, representing a voter turnout of 11.74 percent.
