Jersey Pilots To Play Doubleheader In Berkeley Heights
The 1910 Fruitgum Co. will play in New Providence plus school board meetings tonight.

Here's what you need to know today:
The Jersey Pilots will host North Jersey at Snyder Avenue Park today in a double header. The 6th place Berkeley Heights team (10-23) will face 4th place North Jersey (15-16) at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Both teams are a part of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League, which is funded in part by Major League Baseball. Admission is free for the games, but donations are welcome.
The Berkeley Heights Board of Education will hold a meeting at 8 p.m. in the Columbia Middle School Multipurpose Room. There will be an executive section at 7 p.m. The agenda has not been posted on the district’s website, http://www.bhpsnj.org, as of Wednesday night.

The popular Summer Concert Series continues in New Providence tonight at Centennial Park with The 1910 Fruitgum Company. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., rain or shine, and community members can bring blankets and lawn chairs. If rain puts a damper on the outdoor performance, it will be moved inside in the municipal gym. Sponsored by the New Providence Business Community, the first of the three free concerts featured Elefante Family Band on July 11, followed by Tim Gillis Band on July 18.
New Providence Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the High School/Middle School Media Center. The meeting agenda was not published on the district’s website, http://npsd.k12.nj.us, as of Wednesday night.
