Recently, the Lone Eagle Composite Squadron’s Cyber Warriors team, centered, and surrounded by some of their senior supporters including their Coach, Commander, and Aerospace Education Officers(AEOs), were recognized for their outstanding CyberPatriot 18 achievement. This marks the Squadron’s first-extensive participation and remarkable success.

According to Coach 2nd Lt. Madhu Akula: “Cyber Warriors team stood out in 5th rank among the NJ teams (5/11) and scored and ranked among the top 10% (23/243) at national level earning PLATINUM tier. This is an outstanding achievement considering their experience in the competition.”

He further stated that: “From the start of 2025, the cadets dedicated themselves to mastering cybersecurity fundamentals and advanced skills. Internal Training: Coach Lt. Madhu Akula led five intensive training sessions in May–June, supported by senior members and parents. Advanced Summer Training: Coordinated with Lt. Santhanam from Bud Jackson’s team, cadets gained hands-on experience with CyberPatriot provided Windows and Linux virtual machines.”

The Lone Eagle Composite Squadron meets on Wednesday nights, 7:00 to 9:00 pm, at the Morristown National Guard Armory, NJ. Youth can start the cadet program at age twelve, and adults can join as senior members starting at age 18.
