New Providence Youth Honored For Their Community Service
Members of the BOLD Youth Ministry sang Christmas carols and built snowmen to entertain nursing facility residents.

NEW PROVIDE, NJ — The Spring Grove Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in New Providence partnered with Our Lady of Peace Church to honor members of the BOLD Youth Ministry for their dedication to community service.
The young members participated in several projects throughout winter and spring, including initiatives to bring cheer to residents of the nursing facility.
They sang Christmas carols, built snowmen to entertain residents and delivered holiday and Mother's Day cards, for example.

“It’s important to honor and applaud those focused on community outreach, especially young people such as the members of the BOLD Youth Ministry,” said Ugochi Opara, regional director of market development at Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports Spring Grove. “They truly went above and beyond in their dedication to improving the lives of others, including the senior population, during the challenges of the pandemic. We are so thankful for their kindness.”
Madison Perre, Christiana Gerace and Aidan Jonny received certificates from the church at a Sunday service. Christine Benites was presented with a certificate signed by Spring Grove’s administrator and director of nursing.
