Police: Pet Sitter Allegedly Left Cocaine at Borough Home

Police charged the Gillette resident with possession, released with pending court date.

Detective Donald Sretenovic charged Shannon Cook, 26, of Gillette with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. 

The charges stem from a resident of Sagamore Drive locating cocaine in their bathroom after being away. 

The residents indicated that Ms. Cook was their pet sitter and was the only person in their residence while they were away.

Ms. Cook was released with a pending court date at the Union County Superior Court.
