Remembering 9/11 in Union County, List of 2015 Ceremonies

Listed below are the times and places where Somerset County residents can honor those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.

Union County

• When: Friday, Sept. 11
  
• Where: Echo Lake Park in Mountainside
• Time: Morning hours until 9 p.m.
  

Members of the Union County Sheriff’s Office will provide a uniformed Honor Guard standing watch at the memorial from 6-9 p.m.

Westfield

• When: Friday, Sept. 11
  
• Where: September 11th Memorial Site - North Avenue at East Broad Street (rain or shine.
• Time: 6:30 p.m.
  

Linden

• When: Friday, Sept. 11
  
• Where: Wanda Green Park, Mack Place.
• Time:6:16 p.m.
  

Plainfield

• When: Friday, Sept. 11
  
• Where: Plainfield City Hall on Watchung Avenue.
• Time: 8:30 a.m.
  

Union City

• When: Friday, Sept. 11
  
• Where: Liberty Plaza - 30th Street, between New York & Palisades avenues
• Time: 6 p.m.
  

Roselle

• When: Friday, Sept. 11
  
• Where: Borough Hall - 210 Chestnut St.
• Time: 8:15 - 9:15 a.m.

Scotch Plains

• When: Friday, Sept. 11
  
• Where: 9/11 Memorial Monument on the Alan Augustine Village Green, next to Town Hall.
• Time: 6:30 p.m.
