Union County Man Charged with Enticing Girl into Sexual Activity

A county man was arrested after authorities said he enticed a girl into online sex acts.

A Union County man posed as a famous singer to entice a teenage girl into online sex acts, including sending sexual photos or videos of herself, authorities said.

Eric Bing, 28, of Clark, was charged by complaint with enticing a child to engage in sexual activity, according to the United States Attorney’s Office.

Bing allegedly posed as a famous singer in order to begin a relationship with a 14-year-old girl living overseas. He made increasingly explicit sexual requests of the teenage girl, using Internet-based communications, including email, chat, online video games and a one-way webcam, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. Bing engaged in the activity from 2008 through 2010.
