We Want YOU to Blog on New Providence Patch!

Do you have a blog? Do you want to start one?

Patch is ramping up our local commentary/analysis/humor/insight coverage and we would love for you to consider us as your home. For New Providence and Union County residents who haven't be shy about sharing your views on anything, we'd like to give your blogs a place to live on our sites. We're looking for bloggers who can riff on various topics, share their personality and engage our readers in discussions.

• Are you passionate about the core issues that affect New Providence and Union County?
• Are you an expert craftsman or hobbyist who can share do-it-yourself tips?
• Do you have strong opinions about local government?
• Can you just make us all laugh?
• Can you craft compelling arguments to support your views?

Then we want to hear from you. Don't be shy! New Providence Patch is on a mission to recruit fresh voices, and this is a great opportunity to make your voice heard.

You write what you want to say, when you want to say it. Do it on your schedule, whether that's posting multiple entries per day or a couple times a month.

Patch bloggers are not paid and will own their blogs, so if you are already blogging and want to share with our readers, too, let us know. Much like The Huffington Post has done, Patch is providing local bloggers an on-line platform to have their words seen by a larger audience.

As Local Editor, my role on this site will be to review blog entries submitted to my Patch to ensure there are no libelous claims. I might correct obvious typos, too.
