Tractor-Trailer Flips On I-287 In Oakland

The accident delayed traffic for 3 hours on the highway, State Police said.

OAKLAND, NJ — A tractor-trailer flipped over on Interstate 287 northbound early Tuesday morning, closing a lane and delaying traffic for hours.

The crash occurred at mile-marker 58 at about 4:30 a.m., said Trooper Alejandro Goez. The tractor-trailer overturned and went over the guardrail into the woods.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital, Goez said.

The right lane was closed for about three hours, Goez said.

No other vehicles were involved, Goez said.
