What Was Ocean City's Average Home Sale Price in 2015?

Two towns in Cape May County sell homes for averages over $1 million.

Ocean City, NJ -- The real estate market ebbs and flows, especially in New Jersey, but 2015 saw an uptick in home sales and prices.

The New Jersey Division of Taxation released data on the average sale price – not listing price or assessed price – for all homes sold in New Jersey in 2015.

Avalon was at the top of the list of towns in Cape May County, with the average home going for a price of $1,336,091. The second highest average was in Stone Harbor, where homes went for an average of $1,266,731.

In Ocean City, the average price of a home was $570,774.

The cheapest homes were in Wildwood City, where homes went for an average $212,731, although Woodbine had a listing price of “0.”
