
Harry Allen is an acclaimed American jazz tenor saxophonist known for his deeply melodic, swinging style rooted in the jazz tradition, often compared to classic players like Scott Hamilton. He has recorded over 70 albums as a leader and many more as a sideman, with several of his CDs earning Gold Disc Awards from Japan’s Swing Journal and critical acclaim worldwide. Allen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Rutgers University and has performed at major jazz festivals and clubs across the United States, Europe, and Asia, collaborating with legends such as Rosemary Clooney, Ray Brown, Hank Jones, Scott Hamilton, and John and Bucky Pizzarelli. In addition to his extensive recording and performance career, he has appeared on film soundtracks and in commercials, and is widely respected for his mastery of the Great American Songbook and mainstream jazz repertoire.
Rossano Sportiello is an award-winning Italian jazz pianist born in Vigevano, who began classical piano studies at age nine and was performing professionally by his mid-teens before joining Europe’s historic Milano Jazz Gang. He has since built an international career rooted in stride, swing, and bebop traditions, drawing praise from mentors like Barry Harris and earning the 2009 Ascona Jazz Award for his mastery of jazz piano, particularly stride. Now based in New York City, Sportiello has performed and recorded widely with many jazz luminaries, appeared at major venues and festivals around the world, and continues to be celebrated for his lyrical, swinging style and deep musicality.
