The Woman's Club of Point Pleasant is hosting a Winter Chili Supper fundraiser to help us support all the people &amp; organizations that rely on our help.  
It will be an enjoyable evening of good food &amp; fun,  so come with family and friends &amp; enjoy a nice dinner night out. 
Chili Supper Date: January 29th -- Time: 6 pm
Place: Woman's Club of Point Pleasant clubhouse, 513 St. Louis Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach

A free local event for kids over holiday break
Join the Kiwanis Club of Point Pleasant
for a holiday party, Tuesday, Dec. 30 from 1-3 at Nellie Bennett Elementary School on Riviera Parkway, Point Pleasant Boro. The party will include games, crafts and a service project for the children. The event is for kids 5 to 11 years old in Ocean County and Monmouth County. A&nbsp;parent/guardian must stay on site for the entire event-this is NOT a dropoff.


Space is limited. Please commit to attending when you register and show up that day so we can give this free day to as many children as possible.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEManasquan, NJ — The Holy Trinity Justice and Peace Advocacy Team, in collaboration with the Manasquan Quaker Meetinghouse and Trinity Episcopal Church of Asbury Park, invites the public to a special screening of the acclaimed documentary Sugarcane on Saturday, January 10, at 1 pm in Fellowship Hall at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 6 Osborn Ave, Manasquan.
Sugarcane explores the 2021 discovery of unmarked graves at an Indian residential school run by the Catholic Church in Canada. The film reveals the forced separation, assimilation, and abuse suffered by Indigenous children at these schools, bringing to light a painful chapter in North American history. The documentary has been described as “one of the most compelling and important documentaries of the year,” accumulating immense emotional power as it uncovers grave injustices.
Following the screening, attendees are invited to participate in a brief discussion. To register, please call the Holy Trinity office at 732-223-0533.
