Head of School Paul J. Stellato Awarded Klingenstein Fellowship

Princeton Day School has announced that Head of School Paul J. Stellato has been awarded a fully-funded fellowship to the Klingenstein Center for Independent School Leadership’s 2012 Heads of Schools program at Teachers College, Columbia University. This award is granted to just twenty heads of school annually and provides independent school leaders with an opportunity for focused professional enrichment, renewal, and reflection.

The 2012 winners of the Fellowship come from all areas of the United States in addition to participants from the Czech Republic, Canada, South Africa, Croatia, Latvia, Venezuela and France.

According to a news release, Princeton Day School Chair of the Board of Trustees C. Treby McLaughlin Williams ’80 remarked “this is a wonderful honor for Princeton Day School, and offers Mr. Stellato an extraordinary opportunity to engage with professors and peers on topics of leadership and education.”

Steven Hancock, Assistant Head of School for Academic Leadership, and Dulany H. Gibson, Assistant Head of School for Finance and Operations, will act on Mr. Stellato’s behalf while he is participating in the Fellowship.
