Autism-Friendly Performance of "The White Snake" at McCarter Theater

Come view the 2012 documentary movie Orchestra of Exiles, directed by Academy Award-nominated Josh Aronson. The film tells the story of violinist Bronislaw Huberman's courageous rescue of nearly 1,000 Jewish musicians from the grip of Hitler's Germany. This event serves as a prelude to the Princeton Symphony Orchestra's Nov 3 Eternal Light concert featuring Aaron Jay Kernis' cello concerto Colored Field, the composer's personal artistic response to the Holocaust. McCarter Theater will hold a "relaxed"' performance of "The White Snake" for those with autism, learning differences or other sensory and communication needs.adjustments will be made in sound and light, staff with be on hand to assist parents and caregivers, a family restroom with be available and there will be designated activity and relaxation areas in the lobby. 7 p.m.
