Black History Month Lunch and Learn Held at Princeton Public Library

As part of the Lunch and Learn series, longtime Princeton resident Shirley Satterfield will share her personal experiences as a participant in the 1960 sit-ins in Greensboro, N.C. An important part of civil rights history, the sit-ins led to public condemnation of the treatment of those involved and highlighted the issue of desegregation in the South. Participants should bring their own lunch.
