Learn How to Make the Snacks from "The Silver Linings Playbook"

Looking for things to do around Princeton today? Here are some highlights.

Michael LaCorte, executive chef of the Nassau Inn, prepares his own version of the crabby snacks and cheesesteak sliders mentioned in “The Silver Linings Playbook” and gives ideas for appetizers for any game day. Princeton Public Library, Community Room, 10 a.m. to noon. 

In recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness month, Womanspace will launch the Communities of Light Peace Begins At Home campaign.
 The event is a symbol of hope for those impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault and helps raise awareness and let victims know that they are not alone. St. Paul's Church, 5:30 p.m. 

The League of Women Voters of the Princeton Area invites the community to Back to League Night. A brief documentary, "Storming for the Vote:  Hurricane Sandy and the Election," will be shown, celebrating those efforts ensured that citizens displaced by the storm could vote in the 2012 General Election. Community Room, 400 Witherspoon Street, 7-9 p.m.
