Middlesex County Announces Virtual Business Series June 29

Sen. Cory Booker and County Commissioner Chanelle Scott McCullum will join as guest speakers.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Middlesex County will be hosting the first webinar for this year’s Business Series on June 29, 9 a.m., the county announced.

Titled “Leading Where We Live” the webinar will explore the power of generosity, and highlight businesses that are helping colleagues despite being impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Panelists will examine what their organizations have learned and offer insights and recommendations on how to make an impact and build resilience in the community. The event is free and open to the public.

Senator Cory Booker and Middlesex County Commissioner Chanelle Scott McCullum will be guest speakers at the event moderated by Sandy S. Castor, director of the Middlesex County Office of Business Engagement.

Other presenters include Lindsay Erben, Director, The Arts Institute of Middlesex County; Vinnie Brand, owner & comedian, The Stress Factory; David Burke, owner & restaurateur, Orchard Park Restaurant and Pamela Stefanek, Executive Director, New Brunswick City Center.

The Business Summit was established over five years ago to connect the business community in Middlesex County with resources.
