Parking No Longer Allowed On This Princeton Road For Bike, Pedestrian Safety
The Princeton Mayor and Council approved an ordinance on Monday to remove parking from this Borough street.
PRINCETON, NJ — Street parking is no longer allowed on Armour Road in Princeton to help improve bike and pedestrian safety.
The Mayor and Council approved the ordinance amendment at its Monday night meeting.
"This is an ordinance to remove on-street parking on Armour Road in order to make accommodation for advisory bike lanes or bike pedestrian lanes because the residents of Armour have been concerned about cut-through traffic and the safety of walking in the street," said Councilman David Cohen at the meeting.
