Preservationists Want to Preserve Battlefield, Oppose Development
The Princeton Regional Planning Board is considering a proposal to construct homes on the historic property.

Preservationists are opposed to a proposal to build 15 houses on land next to Princeton Battlefield State Park, according to NJ.com.
The Institute for Advanced Study wants to build faculty homes and its proposal before the Princeton Regional Planning Board could be approved as early as Dec. 1.
Preservationists say the land is the site of one of the most important battles of American history.
