Princeton BOE: New Members Sworn In, Kendal Reelected President

Betsy Baglio was unanimously reelected as BOE Vice President.

PRINCETON, NJ – The Princeton Board of Education held its reorganization meeting on Tuesday.

Two newcomers – Adam Bierman and Eleanor Hubbard, and a returning member, Beth Behrend, were sworn in to their three-year terms.

BOE President Dafna Kendal was once again elected President. She was nominated by Debbie Bronfeld. This will be Kendal’s third term as president.

While nominating Kendal, Bronfeld said that 2023 was a “bumpy” year for the district, but under Kendal’s leadership, the BOE was able to focus on the students.

"I know she will continue to put all our students first. Dafna has not only been the president for two years, but she has also has a full-time job and a daughter in high school,” Bronfeld said.

“She’s successfully continued open conversations with our three unions which has supported a positive work environment and a place for our students to learn and grow.”

Kendal was elected on a unanimous vote.

Betsy Baglio was reelected unanimously as BOE Vice President.
