Princeton Flower Shop Celebrates 6 Years of Empowering People With Intellectual Disabilities
The flower shop combines floral arrangements with a mission of inclusion and empowerment.

PRINCETON, NJ - A nonprofit flower shop in Princeton recently celebrated six years of service with its powerful mission of inclusion, employment and community engagement.
Vaseful Flowers and Gifts provides employment opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Princeton. The shop, operated by Community Options, has been a local favorite since opening in 2019, combining beautiful floral arrangements with a mission of inclusion and empowerment.
"We're proud to be more than just a flower shop," said Kathy Angelinovich, Vaseful's Store Manager and Floral Designer. "Being a part of the Princeton community has been incredibly rewarding and it's an honor to work alongside individuals who are building skills, confidence and a true sense of purpose through this work."

Community Options is a national nonprofit that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through Vaseful, people with disabilities gain meaningful work experience in an integrated setting, developing job skills, building confidence, and achieving greater independence through arranging bouquets and making deliveries.
Over six years, Vaseful has contributed to weddings, birthdays, holidays, and community events throughout Princeton. The shop, located on Witherspoon Street, has also participated in Bloom Local, an Experience Princeton initiative that highlights small businesses through floral art and installations.
