Princeton High School's Studio Vocals & Band Win State Championship
This is the third State Championship win for Princeton Studio Vocals and the seventh for Studio Band.

PRINCETON, NJ - The Princeton Studio Vocals and Princeton Studio Band, from Princeton High School, won the NJ State Championships from the New Jersey Association for Jazz Education (NJAJE).
This is the third NJ State Championship for Princeton Studio Vocals. The Studio Band won their seventh State Championship this year.
The Studio Vocals took first place and also won awards for Best Alto Section, Best Tenor Section, and Best Rhythm Section.

Additionally, Samuel Lee received the Outstanding Instrumental Soloist Award and Vivian Clayton and Syra Bhatt received the Outstanding Vocal Soloists Award. Sebastian Bongiovi received a vocal soloist honorable mention.
The Studio Band which placed first, won the Best Trumpet Section award and the Best Sight Reading award, making state history by becoming the first band ever to score a perfect score in sight reading.
Princeton Jazz Ensemble placed fourth this year. In addition, Peter Eaton received the outstanding soloist award and Lucas Comesana and Andrew Wakefield received honorable mention soloists' awards.
"We are extremely proud of all the hard work the students have done this year and look forward to the release of the new Studio Band album being released in June," Joe Bongiovi, Princeton High School Band Director said.
