Princeton HS Asst. Principal Resigns, New Appointment To Be Made
Nicole Mantuano Lacsamana submitted her resignation. Her last day is March 11.

PRINCETON, NJ –The Princeton Board of Education will be meeting on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
According to the agenda, Nicole Mantuano Lacsamana, the Assistant Principal at the Princeton High School (PHS) has submitted her resignation.
Lacsamana joined the school district in 2022 and her resignation is effective March 11.

Before coming to Princeton, Lacsamana was at Cherry Hill High School East where she taught English and the Social Justice course, which she helped develop with the University of Pennsylvania. She taught for seven years at Cherry Hill High School East.
Based on the agenda, high school assistant principal Lauren Freedman is being reassigned to the same post on March 12, a day after Lacsamana leaves the district. As of now, there’s no clarity on what this actually entails. It is expected to be clear during the board meeting.

Freedman has been a math teacher at PHS since 2008 and was appointed to the post in September last year, to fill the post left vacant by Cecilia Birge who was appointed principal of PHS.
