Princeton Introduces Ordinance On Salaries For Some Municipal Staff
The ordinance includes an extension of salary ranges for 2023 and 2024.
PRINCETON, NJ – During their last meeting, the Municipal Council introduced an ordinance concerning salaries and compensation of certain municipal personnel.
The ordinance includes the addition of some titles and an extension of salary ranges for 2023 and 2024.
The ordinance will see the salary range increase for employees like the Municipality’s Deputy Administrator, Chief Financial Officer, Director of Public Works, and Human Services Director among others.

According to the ordinance, the salary range of a Deputy Administration is between $135,000-$185,000; $110,000-$180,000 for the CFO; $80,000-$142,000 for the Planning Director and Director of Public Works, and $70,000-$122,000 for Land Use Engineers.
The second reading and adoption of the ordinance is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 18.
