According to a new WalletHub analysis, Princeton ranked among the top 10 best small sports cities in the country.
PRINCETON, NJ – We all know that Princeton University has one of the best basketball teams in the country and the Stanley Cup games draw many spectators.
Some towns have better sports fans and Princeton is one of them, according to a recent study.
Personal finance website Wallethub recently crunched some numbers and determined that Princeton is among the nation's best small sports cities in 2023.

Princeton ranked 9th among small sports cities and 48th overall.
The rankings considered more than 50 metrics measuring fans’ support for the five largest sports in the U.S. – football, basketball, baseball, soccer and hockey – using WalletHub’s previous city rankings by individual sport.

In football Princeton ranked 45th; 62nd in basketball; 111st in baseball; 65th in soccer and 69th in hockey.
