Princeton Women Heading to Connecticut

Tigers earn ninth seed after finishing 24-4 to rank 24th nationally.

The Princeton women's basketball team will open the NCAA tournament on Saturday with a game versus Kansas State in Bridgeport, Conn.

Princeton is the ninth seed in the western bracket, which also includes top-seeded Connecticut. Fellow Central Jersey school Rutgers is the sixth seed out west.

Princeton is the first nationally ranked Ivy women’s basketball program in conference history and earned the Ivy League automatic bid for the third consecutive season with a perfect 14-0 conference record.
