Quaker Road is Now Repaired and Open
The road suffered extensive flood damage from Hurricane Irene.

Quaker Road in Princeton Township, which suffered nearly $120,000 in damage during Hurricane Irene, is now repaired and open in both directions.
Township Engineer Robert Kiser told members of the township committee on Monday that the lane of Quaker Road entering Princeton was washed out six feet below the pavement. Emergency crews were called in to rebuild the road to the existing elevation and a guiderail was also replaced.
“All work has now been completed and Quaker Road is now open to two-way traffic,” Kiser said.
