The Princeton Half-Marathon is This Weekend: Here's What You Need to Know

The race will close multiple roads throughout town on Sunday morning- be sure you know which ones.

The Princeton Half Marathon is on Sunday, Nov. 3. 

Pre-Race Road Closures 

  • Paul Robeson at Chambers at approximately 4:30 a.m.
  • Witherspoon between Hulfish and Paul Robeson and Paul Robeson between Witherspoon and Chambers, 6 a.m. 

Parking Restrictions 
No overnight parking will be permitted in the central business district or along the race route roadways fromNovember 2 to November 3. “Emergency No Parking” signs will be posted in the race staging areas overnight prior to the race.
Race Route (All streets and intersections along the race route will be closed to ALL TRAFFIC beginning at approximately 7:30 a.m. When safely possible, traffic will be allowed to cross the race route by police officers posted in those intersections.
  • Paul Robeson across Rt. 206 to Hodge Road.
  • South on Library Place to Mercer Street.
  • Mercer Street west to Battle Park, enter Battle Park and emerge on Olden Lane. 
  • Olden Lane to Battle Road then Springdale Road and onto West Drive. 
  • West Drive to north on Alexander Street then east onto Faculty Road and north onto Washington Road, then cross Nassau Street onto Vandeventer Avenue.
  • Vandeventer Avenue to east on Wiggins Street/Hamilton Avenue, then north onto Walnut La. and then East onto Franklin Avenue.
  • Franklin Ave. to south on Linden Lane, then east onto Hamilton Avenue across Snowden Lane onto Rollingmead.
  • Rollingmead to Deer Path, north on Clover, then to Overbrook Drive to Snowden Lane. 
  • Snowden Lane north to Herrontown Road, then west to Bunn Drive and to Poor Farm Road; Poor Farm to Mount Lucas Road heading south.
  • Mout Lucas Rd to Jefferson Road, then Jefferson To Wiggins, west on Wiggins crossing Witherspoon to the finish at Paul Robeson near Chambers.
