The following is a summary of incidents as reported by Princeton Police:

PRINCETON, NJ — On June 22, 2:50 a.m., following a motor vehicle stop for littering from a motor vehicle, failure to observe a traffic signal and other violations, a 45-year-old man was found to be operating his motor vehicle while under the influence of a suspected illegal narcotic. He was placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters, where he was processed. The Bay Shore resident was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and failure to observe traffic control devices. He was later released from police custody and he was given a court date.

On June 22, at 12:02 a.m., following a welfare check on a man who was observed walking in the middle of the street, yelling, and consuming alcoholic beverages in public, the man was found to have a warrant issued from the Raritan Borough Municipal Court for $2,000 and a warrant from the Somerville Municipal Court for $1,000, totaling $3,000. The 56-year-old Elizabeth resident was taken to police headquarters, where arrest processing procedures were completed. He was later released on his own recognizance with new court dates and was issued a special complaint summons for having an open container of alcohol in public. E

On June 23, a man reported that his Samsung cellphone, valued at $250, was stolen while he left it unattended at a business on Nassau Street. The incident was captured on surveillance cameras. The suspect is described as a 30-year-old white male with a slim build, featuring a tattoo on his left forearm. He was wearing a white and blue New York Yankees hat, a turquoise t-shirt with a red and yellow design on the front, yellow and black shorts with various Batman-themed designs, white and grey sneakers, and carrying a colorful backpack adorned with several designs.

On June 23, at 2:21 a.m., following a motor vehicle stop for failure to keep right, the driver, a 35-year-old man, was found to be Driving While Intoxicated. He was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where he was processed. The Princeton resident was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, reckless driving, and careless driving, was provided with his court date and was released to a sober adult.
