The following is a summary of incidents as reported by Princeton Police:

PRINCETON, NJ - On July 1, a man reported that the front license plate of his vehicle was stolen. The man was unable to recall the last time he observed the front license plate affixed to the vehicle and could not determine when or where it may have been removed/stolen.

On July 5, patrols responded to a business on Hulfish St. for a report of shoplifting involving three suspects. Three masked individuals entered the business, grabbed merchandise, and fled on foot in the direction of Chambers Street where they entered a vehicle. The stolen merchandise totaled $4,944. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On July 6, following a motor vehicle stop for a violation of maintenance of lamps, the driver, a Lawrenceville resident, was determined to have an arrest warrant out of Lawrence Township Municipal Court for $550 and an active arrest warrant out of Ewing Township Municipal Court for $500. The 25-year-old was placed under arrest, taken to headquarters, and later turned over to Lawrence Township Police Department. He was also issued a motor vehicle summons for maintenance of lamps before being released.
