Third Man Charged in Connection With Robberies in May, June
Police arrested two men in June, and continued their investigation throughout the summer.

A third man has been arrested in connection with two robberies in Princeton last spring.
Sayvon Bennett, 19, of Trenton, was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 9:15 a.m. and charged with robbery, theft and possession of a stun gun. He was taken to Mercer County Corrections Center in lieu of $171,000 cash bail.
The first robbery happened on May 29 shortly before 2 p.m. on Washington Road near Prospect Avenue. That's when a woman reported that someone ran up from behind her and grabbed her iPhone (valued at $200) out of her hand and ran away.

The second incident happened on Sunday, June 2 around 10 p.m. on William Street between Charlton Street and Washington Road. That's when two victims reported that several black males, all late teens to early 20’s, had threatened them with a stun gun and then took their cash, credit cards and a cell phone. During the robbery, one of the victims reported a head injury after being forced to the ground. She was treated at the scene.
This is the third arrest in connection with the incidents. On June 2, police arrested Antonio Lewis, 19, of Trenton and Manuel Alicea, 19, of Ewing, and charged them with robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose.
