Woman Charged in Sale of Crack
Three-month investigation leads to arrest on Clay Street.
A 48-year-old borough woman was charged with selling crack from her Clay Street apartment.
Cheryl Johnson, of 32 Clay St., was arrested after a search of her resident discovered "a quantity of ‘crack’ cocaine packaged for distribution, drug paraphernalia, as well as a quantity of cash" believed to be the "proceeds from the sales," according to a press release from Princeton Borough Police.
The May 6 search warrant and arrest was the culmination of a three-month investigation, police said.

Johnson was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of school property, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute in a public housing facility and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Johnson was released May 7 after posting $52,500 bail.
