'Anything Goes' Hits Ramsey Stage
The show has a cast made up of local high school and college-aged students, and will have two more performances in the borough.

Thursday night, about 30 actors from local high schools and colleges took the stage at Ramsey High School for the first of three performances of Anything Goes.
OnStage, Inc., a non-profit theater group, held auditions in May and assembled a cast and crew of locals who have been rehearsing for three-and-a-half weeks. After three dress rehearsals earlier this week, the students, show’s crew, and live pit orchestra, took to the stage.
Anything Goes marks OnStage’s 40th season.

“We’re quite proud of that,” OnStage’s Denise Nicolosi said.
Most of the people who work to put these productions on “are not paid,” she said. “This is our passion. We do it because we love it.”

The group has held the last half dozen of its shows at Ramsey High School.
“We used to switch schools, but we have really found a home in Ramsey,” Nicolosi said. And, RHS drama teacher Doug Gipple is directing Anything Goes, and an RHS grad is costume designing.
If you missed Thursday night’s performance, you can catch one of the next two, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Ramsey High School. Tickets are $15, and can be purchased at the door. Discounts are available for student and senior tickets.
