Hundreds of family members, friends, and supporters gathered on the front lawn of Ramsey High School Friday evening to watch the school’s 105th graduation ceremony.
The Class of 2013 was praised by school and district administrators as one of the most impressive in Ramsey history.
The ceremony included speakers like Board of Education President Tony Gasparovich, High School Principal Dr. Michael Thumm, and retiring Superintendent Bruce DeYoung.

Several students, including Class Speaker Nick Schifano, Class President Matthew Johns, Valedictorian Nicole Conrad and Salutitorian Alexander Zammitti, addressed the crowd during the ceremony, as well.
Several of the speakers honored the memory of late RHS principal Rich Lio, and the Class of 2013 recognized Thumm’s first year as principal by presenting him with a painting of the school.

The Class of 2013 also made a donation toward an electronic sign on the front lawn as its class gift to the school.
