Ramsey Alliance Hosting Interactive Anti-Drug Panel For Parents

Parents will learn what they should do if they find drugs, what the current drug trends are, and pending marijuana legalization in NJ.

RAMSEY, NJ — An interactive panel of local officials speaking about drug and alcohol use among children and teenagers will be held next month.

The Ramsey Police Department Youth Officer Sean Beamon, Saddle River police officer Lt. Tim Gerity, Dr. Janice Montague of Tuxedo Pediatrics, and others from the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office will speak.

Parents will learn what they should do if they find drugs, what the current drug trends are, and what the pending marijuana legalization in New Jersey means.

The event is that Northern Highlands High School at 8 p.m. Feb. 13. The Ramsey and Saddle River municipal alliances, state-supported municipal organizations that work to combat alcohol and drug abuse.
