Ramsey Ambulance Corps Plans a ‘Night at the Races’
Fundraiser will include Southern-style BBQ.

Mark your calendars for October 5, because the Ramsey Volunteer Ambulance Corps. is already getting ready for one of its biggest events of the year.
Ambulance volunteers started promoting “A Night at the Races, Race for a Rig,” on Facebook this week. The charity event is happening at the ambulance building on South Island Avenue, and is planning for some big attractions to draw locals in:
- Sponsorships, auctions, and betting on horse races
- A catered southern-style BBQ
- Beer, wine, and soda
- A night out in Ramsey where "you’ll feel like you’re at the track"
Tickets for the event are $40 per person. Locals can also donate by sponsoring a horse for $25 or a race for $100.
