The fireworks are set, a Bruce Springsteen tribute band has been hired, and most of the organizations that had booths last year will return this year, he said.

But, there is one matter still unsettled – Ramsey Day does not yet have a theme.

Vozeh announced Wednesday that a committee of local officials working to organize the annual town-wide event is also working to come up with a theme.

“So, if anyone is creative and wants to think of a theme, [that’d be great],” Vozeh told the council Wednesday.

He did receive some suggestions, including, “Ramsey Cares,” which would include some type of donation element, something Hurricane Sandy-related (a la Stronger than the Storm), or a Jersey theme that ties in Bruce Springsteen.

The committee still has some time to decide, but in the meanwhile, Patch wants to know what you think.
