Reader Photo: 24-Hour HazMat Refresher Trains Ramsey Rescue Squad

Last weekend, The Ramsey Rescue squad hosted a 24-hour Hazardous Materials Technician Refresher Class at its headquarters at 30 South Island Avenue, in Ramsey.

Participants were required to learn and properly execute proper techniques for collecting evidence at a crime scene, the new Federal(OSHA) Harmonization system for the proper labeling of Hazardous Materials, and meet requirements for certification in Incident Command System(ICS) for Hazardous Materials.
